The old Craignish pier

 It's hard to imagine, but cattle used to be swum across from the Isle of Jura to this pier on their way to market in Falkirk . I imagined the poor cows struggling in the current but the local friends we have come to visit here in Ardfern assure me the cows were attached to a boat. Wonderful walks on the end of the point here, lots of history and amazing views (extra) when the weather is good which it was today
