The Sweet One

The sweet one at play today. It was the first time I saw her in 5 days, and while I missed her, I had no idea how much I missed her. It was neat to see her today, even if only for a few minutes. She got to play with her grandfather today while I was at work. She got to play with her other set of grandparents the other 4 days this week.

The hat is part of a darling set made for Mara by a college friend of mine. Now I have to get hopping and throw her new granddaughter a set of baby dishes.

Her smile just lights up my heart and makes me feel light and happy all over.

The good news is that one of my regular cameras (the Nikon P6000) is fixed and comes home from the hospital tomorrow. The Volvo (aka the Angry Swedish Nanny) is all well and came home today, except for the need for a special order part, for which she will need to return next week.

Today, I am thankful for the baby, the camera repair people and the mechanics.
