Agapanthus

The agapanthus flowers are slowly opening up, but certainly taking their time over it. They're another of those flowers that are so spectacular that they defy anything else to compete for attention.  But the flowers do last for ages, so they earn their keep. Then they take the rest of the year off, and essentially appear to do nothing at all until it's time for the dramatic showing off again. As predicted, only the white ones have flowered - the blue obviously feel that they're due a sabbatical this year.
