Selattyn Church

This morning I went into Oswestry to do some shopping and called at F's where I had lunch.

He told me that he had accidentally disturbed a large orange moth that was behind the bin in the garden. He ushered it into a dark corner and as he moved a sparrow swooped in and took it. Poor moth - he feeds the sparrows well too!

This afternoon I popped into Selattyn School to give them some old teaching materials that I'd come across. I used to do a lot of teaching in the village school, it's a pretty place in the hills above the town with the school, a pub and this lovely little church - plus a few houses of course.
