Casualties Union

A fantastic end to the day; a mass Community First Responder training event supported by the fantastic folk of the Casualties Union (Furness Branch). I was both taking part and assessing - but I'd hoped to get a blip.
However I'd not appreciated just how involved & realistic the event would be. As well as not really having time, a lot of pics were just too gruesome or personal for blip. We dealt with cascading failures, panic attacks , self harm, a pregnant epileptic, stroke and a very full on "Do Not Resuscitate" where the paperwork was missing.

It was great to work as a team with new people and share learning and tips and support - and all too soon we looked up and the sun was setting on the glorious Eden Valley.
