Oranges

The last hour of our train journey led us through orange grove after orange grove - as common here it seems as vineyards are at home - so it wasn't a surprise to find the facade of Valencia station decorated with oranges. Lovely too to meet our young people who had started out even earlier than we had to get here. All very tired now but happily settled in to our apartment 50 metres from the central market - one of the biggest in Spain and we'll see it tomorrow when we go there for breakfast - and we found this evening some wonderful tapas restaurants in the square at the other end of the street.
