Faces
Today we visited Litchfield National National Park which is about 1 and 1/2 hours from Darwin. On the way we stopped to pick up foodstuffs for lunch and I took the opportunity to sneakily grab a shot of this gentleman sitting outside the store. I didn't realise till after [ too focused on getting the shot across the car park] that the advert behind him also showed a face but I decided I liked the juxtaposition of youth and age, race and culture the 2 together represented.
The rest of the day went very well - we visited Buley Rock Swimming holes first then went to Wangi [ pronounced Wongai] Falls [ see extra] where we had lunch and swam again. The water in both places was very clear and very cold which made the swimming exhilarating. The wild life was also cool with huge fruit bats roosting in the trees, massive Magnetic Termite Mounds, butterflies and spiders in abundance. All in all a great day. Shattered now - can't believe we have only 6 days left :(
