Spider's Web

A wet night, followed by a wet day.  We needed the rain.  A morning of chores, including the joy of using a new super-duper vacuum cleaner (I mean that seriously (!) as my old one was driving me up the wall not picking things up properly).  This afternoon a trip to the allotment to pick a courgette and get soaked in the process, a quick pop along to a tea party in aid of the local hospice - it was supposed to be an outdoor event in our street  but the rain meant we had to retreat indoors, then a wander around the village getting wet again.  I came across this rather interesting and fun looking climbing frame in the local park.  No-one was out using it today, just a few bedraggled dogs and their owners wandering past.  I hope you have all had a good day.  Looks like the sun is peaking its head out amongst the dark grey clouds this evening, better weather on its way hopefully (O:
