It's 5.00 in the morning .......

..... it's damn cold, I am standing on a wobbly table with my camera set up on a tripod and I am eventually here at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico, USA - yay!!!

It's been almost a year in the planning but I made it!

Everyone is super-friendly, there is hot food and drink for sale and lots of activity ........ I'm having a bit of a practise taking shots in the dark and the nice man next to me has lent me a torch (note to self: buy a small torch for photo taking in the dark).

I liked the ghostly shapes around this van and the flames shooting up from the back ......
