We visited K today and it was such a relief to find him in such good spirits. Our K - the quick witted, funny, stubborn, warm and wonderful man that we adore - was sat in front of us. 3 hours passed as we tried to get to grips with how he really is and what has been happening these last few months. Honestly felt that he was more positive and was looking to the future.

Soon for sleep, ready for tomorrow's hair cut and colour...my act of summer rebellion!
