The things you do for love!

Like many others, with today's weather, today's blip is indoors and a bit of a miracle!

Tomorrow no. 2 granddaughter is going for afternoon tea at the nursery with her mum as a first visit before starting nursery proper next week (she's a couple of other longer stays this week, but this is the first).
I invited no. 1 granddaughter to come for afternoon tea with me so she didn't feel left out. Foolishly, on the invitation I made for her, I included a picture of a chocolate cake - amongst other things. Her expectations are raised.

I don't really bake cakes, so I'm quite pleased with this attempt. All ready now for chocolate icing tomorrow!
