Home Grown Beauty

Took time out to spend some time in the garden today for a bit of relaxation from continuing hospital visits.
I have to admit to not being very active among the flowers or the shrubs and pot plants this year following my own period of receiving medical care earlier in the year, and with my wife Jill currently somewhat under the weather after a nasty fall at home, it seems those visits to the hospital are destined to continue.
Therefore I couldn’t resist a “selfie” with this hydrangea now that it is in full bloom and adding some welcome colour to daily routine. Truth is, apart from regular watering, it hasn’t demanded a great deal of care.  Even so it’s my pride just at the moment.

I hope that my wife gets home in time to share my joy in its beauty.
