Burtonport pier

A long - and beautiful - drive from Connemara to Donegal today.  We arrived late afternoon and met the owners of our (lovely) holiday cottage for the next week.  They were ever so welcoming and had a fire going for us, and a pot of tea - as well as plenty of local knowledge.  After they left us to it, we got settled in and then went back into Dungloe to buy some bits for dinner.  Also had a quick drive down into the village on the way back to see what was what.  I leapt out for a quick photo on the pier - and then we headed back to cook some dinner and have a nice chilled out in our home for the week.
