Malta Independence Day
Today, 21 September, is not just about independence from Britain but from just about everyone. Malta must be one of the most strategically located, and therefore the most invaded, country in the world!
Right from the Phoenicians Malta has been occupied by the Greeks, Carthiginians, Romans, Byzantines, Normandy kingdom of Sicily, French, Arabs and British from 1841.
