The first one is turning red

So different to a couple of weeks ago, the temperature barely reached half of what it was then. Time for a swim in the morning, coupled with trips to Homebase for more paint and to Wickes for bricks.

After lunch we applied a second coat of paint to the studio walls. Ready now for the emulsion topcoat. Much quicker this time around.

A wet evening for a walk but we did it anyway. Called in at the allotment to see how the beans were doing, came away with another pile which I froze there and then (not at the allotment but when I got home).
