The Summer Isles, from Reiff, and in the distance, a passing Naval vessel.
More kayaking today, but just a short paddle. Weather was alright, despite being grey and overcast. Didn't feel up to doing much distance, so another headland was the day's challenge. Rubha Coigach seems to be the general opinion of the spelling, though the Ordnance Survey maps differ here.
Can't remember a great deal, probably as I was quite tired, and lacking enthusiasm. Do recall having a struggle against a slight tidal stream at the head, on the return part of the journey, so was glad I hadn't gone all the way around into Achnahaird Bay. Clegs were about again, but didn't succeed in biting. Stowaways today didn't survive long, as I was on the lookout for them. Would be good to do it again on a better day, for me and the weather.
Back home tonight.
