View from the bird hide at Udale Bay, on the Black Isle.
Plenty bird life about, with a few early migrants. All of the usual waders, but also a few Greenshank in the burn close to the hide. One migrant from last Winter that didn't leave, because it couldn't, was a Pink-footed Goose with a damaged wing. Possibly injured by one of the wildfowlers taking a pot shot at it. More of a local species, in small numbers here, was an Eider duck with largish ducklings. She'd likely had more, but only two remained.
