Week 8

Week 8 and I have making phone calls down! I have gotten used to the idea of making phone calls and don't mind it, except for the part of having to leave a voicemail and playing phone tag or calling the wrong place or mispronouncing their name. Other than that, making phone calls is easy. Other than making phone calls, I got to go to a meeting about a youth conference later this year and got to help think of some ideas for speakers or topics to discuss during this conference. It's really great to see youth actively engaged and motivated to educate youth on sensitive topics, such as special needs, juvenile justice or even behavioral health. It's so refreshing to see teens want to make something of themselves even when things may be working against them.
