Last of the summer?

With the weather due to break at the weekend, I think this may be one of the last roses of the summer. I'll be sorry to see them go.

After a day at work in Nottingham, a trawl down the motorways I headed to the camera club lecture this evening. Not particularly photographic, but very interesting; the head of security at Winchester prison was doing a talk on the history of the prison and what it's like there now.
