Wasp or Bee ?

Not sure if this is some kind of wasp or bee. The garden was full of so many flying insects including at lest 5 butterflies, the most we have seen this summer.

I did get quite alot of blips with my DSLR but had to practise withthe new toy. Still takes a lot of getting used to , funny how the big camera seems a lot less complicated , the wee compact has so many menus , different for each setting and some found in the menu button, others in the display button. I suppose I will start to remember where everything is once I have found all the uses and know where they are.

I quite liked the detail in this.
LARGE might be worth alook if you have time.

The camera was inches away from the flower and hand held, at least the IS is really good. To be honest I can't remember what settings I finally used for this , perhaps the EXIF info willtell me.
have a geat weekend everyone, looks to be quite promising. I'll be taking my new toy to the football tomorrow to see how it performs there.
