3 - 3 Absolutely gutted!

After a run of league games with no points we had reason to believe we would be celebrating tonight with the Sons leading 3 -1 with two minutes to go. What a grand game , the boys worked so hard playing a lot of good accurate passing , two excellent goals , one by Lister and the other by Prunty ( the first an OG but we'll take that no bother ) .

Then our hearts were broken Hamilton Accies scored in the 88th minute and again well into extra time in the 95th minute of the game . We didn't desreve that result but I suppose we can say it was a definite progress , our first league point of the season , the team really coming together and producing good football. sadly the player who has been man of the match in the past two games really let us down by gifting the first annd last goals to the opposition. having said that had the officials been truly on the ball the last goal would not have been scored as there was a definite infringement by their goalie when he took the free kick which resulted in the goal.
Such is the life of a football fan, we'll be back next weekend supporting and willing on the Sons.

Tonight's blip shows our keeper , Grindley in action saving a goal. Have to say the red headed player for Accies was a superb wee player. Looks almost as if they were performing a ballet dance.
