Prison

In the gatehouse at this jail there are two large brass plaques. The first commemorates some worthy opening the nick in 1993. The design was new then and is referred to by the name of this place.

The other plaque proudly announces that The Princess Royal visited in such and such a year to open the recycling centre.

Diary secretary: "So we've got a date in Oxfordshire"

Princess Anne: "That sounds nice. What is one doing in Oxfordshire?"
