Olden days

Lots of walking to climb the Elephant tower https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torre_dell%27Elefante (view from top in extra-with another similar tower in the distance), visit the archaeological museum where there were some great tiny bronze statuettes, beautiful beads and necklaces and lots of spare statue pieces like these hands, and then on to the amphitheatre.
Felt like we really did the Castello area of town, coming across a birthday/bridegroom procession (not clear which!) and a tango lesson in the little winding streets as we walked.
Drinks on the high terrace overlooking the sea and mountains, then walked along the marina and home (via some more delicious gelato!) for a rest before dinner. Enjoyed the Sardinian ravioli ....more the tomato sauce version than the saffron and sage, then back to consider trips for our next few days...
