Departure

Today we all went to Die where, after a picnic and a lazy afternoon beside the Drôme river the four of us went into the town to meet up with our friends from Montreuil who were on holiday. Miss L and I only had an hour with them before taking a train, first to Valence - where it was odd to change trains rather than get begin or end a journey - and then to Paris where we stayed in Montreuil with an old friend who is house/cat sitting for the friends we met in Die!
