I was not part of this adventure. It’s not that dogs cant go here…They can but under limited conditions, non of which align with the desires of The Boss or Granny (acycling) who like to shoe trails that are not dog friendly.

So I stayed with The Bossess and visited coffee shops AND got treats.

Tiny reports that it was a great day and they saw a huge increase in snow shoeing folk which is really exciting for the area.
This view is westward and thats the Southern Alps in the background and Tussock grass in the foreground.
