It's Karen's turn...
Dear Diary,
Before she left, Karen gathered flowers to make a nice bouquet to take home with her. People love cutting flowers in the garden and I love sharing what I have with them. Karen is putting in a garden at her new home so in early October I will divide some of my perennials and bring them to her so she can plant them in her garden.
We have always been very close and we joke about being able to finish each other's sentences. I will be thinking of her and the next thing I know there is an email from her; it works the other way around too. I had planned to do an arrangement of rubeckia for her visit but when I went to the store I saw that a local farm was selling sunflowers so I bought some for her. When she arrived she had a small arrangement with a lovely sunflower! We do think alike so often.
Today will be a quiet one for Emerson and me. I am nearly finished with my wonderful book on Christina Olson and Andrew Wyeth. The really good news is I was able to get back on-line with my course and I finished it up yesterday. A great experience. I will certainly take advantage of EdX again, it is a great learning experience.
