Rainbow Lorikeet tucking into breakfast...

on a bottlebrush tree. A group arrived early this morning and I could hear them in the tree opposite our balcony. The sun wasn't coming through, so the light wasn't too good, so the picture's a bit soft. But I just wanted to capture this very Australian scene! Another group of birds arrived and there was a great caffuffle, but again the light wasn't good enough to catch the argument and all the wing flapping going on!
