Looking Down
On Cove Harbour. My Mum, sister and I walked from Cove to Siccar Point today. The weather was mostly glorious with some rain showers. It was a pretty precarious coastal path most of the way, not very well beaten, we only met 3 other souls on it, apart from in Cove Harbour itself and at Pease Bay Caravan Park where we stopped for an emergency refreshment during a heavy rain shower.
Siccar Point is where James Hutton, the geologist, proved his theory that the Earth is more than 6000 years old, which was widely believed until that time (1788).

It was a very enjoyable walk, with plenty of interest on the way including a ruined church, St Helens Chapel, and Cove Harbour.
I also spotted a Rose Gall, which I have never seen before.
