Birthday Washout

Today was Kara's nieces birthday so as they headed out for the traditional swim at Stonehaven we took the dogs a walk nearby.

Went opted for Dunnottar woods as it was raining heavily and it would be more sheltered than the beach. Plus I was interested in going to explore Lady Kennedy's bath built in the river and shell house (pictured). The dogs didn't realise the bath wasn't river so they jumped in and went under. The shell house has been restored and inside is decorated with many different shells.

Once back in the dry we had a picnic lunch followed by an evening of festivities in glorious sunshine and a BBQ.
