National Dance Day

At the Kennedy Center for National Dance Day, I spotted this lady, off in a quiet corner, jamming away rhythmically. I approached her for a pic and realized she was wearing earplugs and listening to her own soundtrack. 

She was impervious to the people all around her who were learning dance moves to a completely different tune. 

When I finally got her attention and asked her about this, she simply said: "music is a feeling; there are no prescribed moves; just rhythms, ebbs and flows and they are different for every person."  Works for me. And it certainly worked for her :)
