Fungie the Dingle Dolphin

On to Dingle today and then to Killarney.  We opted not to do the bus trip around the Dingle area, as it was better for A on her medication to avoid the extra travelling, and in truth we needed a break from being in a bus.  Instead we took a look around Dingle (I just love thee Irish towns, and then decided on a boat trip out on the harbour in the hope of meeting Fungie, the Dingle Dolphin. 

We did meet him, which was really neat.  I didn’t get any decent photos but it was a really nice change of scenery and travel mode.


Our final night of the tour was spent in Killarney.  Another attractive town.  But not such a great place to stay.  I have to say that I am definitely not a fan of hostel accommodation and while some of the hostels have been okay others most definitely haven’t!  It will be very good to stay in a hotel for our last couple of nights.
