Oak tree

This oak tree is at Stowe Park in Buckinghamshire. The view is across the portico of the Temple of Concord and Victory, one of many such buildings in the landscape there. It's a great place for a walk, and the restaurant is good too, which never harms... I took the same picture about 15 years ago, in monochrome, with a very old film camera that alas now has shutter problems which would be too costly to repair. I love film images, but the versatility and convenience of digital is pretty irresistible too.
