Blackberries
These seem somewhat early, to say the least - not even August yet. But everything is ripening, irrespective of the usual timetable. Whether that will have adverse, or even beneficial, effects on wildlife I don't know. I passed a hazelnut tree earlier which had lots of nuts on last week and already most seemed to have disappeared, so I assume the squirrels have decided to get them hidden away without delay. They always seem to take them before they appear to be ripe enough to be worth picking.
