A cheap day out, except for the fuel to get to Morecambe. With a flask of coffee and some snacks we made an early (8.30) start. Only £1 for 4 hours car parking (the roadside would have been free had we chosen that option). 

We walked along to the headland at Heysham. A wander round there and then a pleasant return along the prom with a tailwind. 

We spotted what we thought were kites but as we got closer realised they were kite surfers in the channel. As I walked down to the beach this guy passed me. There was no time to compose the shot or focus but the camera seemed to do the right thing. It's the first time I've seen this activity here. 

Finally along to the festival market. I always enjoy looking around even if, as today, I don't make any purchases.
