New balls please.

We had a lie in this morning after a lovely evening.
Finished up at our house for coffee and chocolates.
We had so much to catch up. Talked none stop, and laughed a lot.

I bought some duck eggs from the farm shop on Friday, and so decided to bake an egg custard tart.
At the same time I have been watching the antics of the birds on the feeders.
Lots of sparrows about today.  I counted 12 at one go. Many young ones still being fed by their parents, although they are quite capable of feeding themselves.
Had to shoo the magpie off. ( took the photo first)
The fat balls haven't lasted long, and need replacing.

Mainly a fine warm day with some sunshine and just the odd shower.
It sounds like we will be having the same weather for the rest of next week too.
Typical British summer!
