Chick in the rain

Since yesterday, two of our seagull chicks have come down from the chimney and have mostly been pottering around on the ground. They do seem able to fly a bit - I've seen them do a few yards at a time - and both parents are being very watchful, so hopefully they'll be ok. (I felt sorry for them being out in the heavy rain, then remembered that the seagulls up here cope with much more severe weather than that!)

Not sure about the third one, who was seen at ground level a week or so ago. Hopefully he was an early developer, and is safely off doing his own thing...
