Blue Skye
This was our private beach today. A day without the car was blissful. We followed the cottage owners advice and walked behind our cottage across an unmarked rise to reveal Oisgill Bay, our beach for the day. We spent a few hours and a picnic in the sunshine watching seals, gannets, buzzards, peregrines and various other birds but the resident otters didn't show.
This photo is a 3 shot stitch and if you look closely you can see Lesley on the beach.
The extra is another walk in the other direction to watch the sunset at Neist Point, the picture postcard lighthouse. In contrast there were plenty of people there.
