Ahhh.....

Relaxed day again. Set off north in the car and stopped at San Spetere to have coffee and see street art....but the murals weren't that great. It was a Sunday and everything was deserted (apart from lots of middle aged and older men who seemed to have been sent to the cafes or put out to read the paper in front of their houses to give their womenfolk peace!). Nice coffee and pastries then set off again towards Bosa on the coast road - stopped at some amazing limestone slabs running down to the sea that had been both carved up for blocks/quarried and had names carved into by numerous people over the years. We tried to add the granddaughters' names but only scratched the surface. Beautiful clear blue water and coves.
Arrived in Bosa (extra) - very pretty but oh so hot and once again all shut up apart from some cafes and bars, Shared a pizza and had delicious gelato then down to the beach to dive into the water and keep cool. Darker red sand here and once again very busy but we enjoyed swimming, watching the different gangs of kids and teenagers navigating this very public space and reading another chapter of the book we're on.
Back to change and then up to Fattoria S'Imbruglia for an agriturismo dinner. As always with these places lots of slow paced courses which each brings delicious surprises (especially the 'vegetable spread' made of celery, green peppers, capers and garlic, and the ricotta and chocolate truffles). This was a more cheese and veg based one than we'd been to before but still delicious and with a lovely sunset to boot.
Home via twisty roads in pitch black...stopped to see the stars and could see a lot of the Milky Way for a change. Lovely!
