Autumn in the Garden

Up early and out in the garden. The butterfly helpfully obliged while I scuttled inside fro the camera.

Katie and I nipped out for elevenses to Thai Teak. The views from there on a bright september morning are lovely. Tea and scones were consumed, fruit for me and cheesey for Katie. Meanwhile back at base Mr Lif was tiling the kitchen floor. We decided to leave him to it and hit the big city for lunch, a natter and some shopping. All good and Katie seemed more chipper by the time she left for the train to go visit her friend. Broken hearts are hard to mend :(

Back home and the kitchen is now tiled and looking smart. Time for a wee cava and feet up!
