Sunflower

Finally, against all odds one of my sunflowers has flowered! Him next door with his giant sunflowers has been in a thorn in my flesh since mid August!!! Ha, I have the last laugh. Whilst his hang their spent heads in shame, my wee beauties are starting to shine ;)

Another sunny day spent in the garden. All spic and span and suitably trimmed for the winter. Just need to get some spring bulbs and pop them in when we get back from our hols.

I am still without my lapper and my makeshift solution is causing me grief :( so please excuse lack of comments, I will catch up. It's taken me forever tonight to get to the point of publishing. Gah!
