Hot, and Getting Hotter

Everything about this record-breaking heat is alarming, but there is that curious phenomenom of feeling a bit chilled to waken to a house that has cooled all the way down to 77 degrees, brrr.
I don't like the part about wishing my life away: longing for October in August.
