HAPPY PAIR
of damselflies.
The morning came slowly to end end. And we decided to eat lunch a bit early and after that drive to Meinbrexen.
We were fortunate to have chosen that place because it turned out to be paradise again. The last time we had been there, it had been cold and windy.
Today there was a bit of wind, and very dark clouds, but the forecast had said: no rain, and there was none.
We walked around the lake (not a real lake but a gravel pit) we saw at least 40 swans floating in it, there were cormorants, ducks and geese as well.
The dragonflies were flying top gear above the water.
I found the pair of damselflies near the water, and they did not move, an excellent moment for a picture or some more.
I felt really exhaused when we came home, following common blues and other butterflies in the meadows along the lake.
We had walked till we came at the large field of sunflowers, a beautiful view. And we had sat in the grass too, looking at the dark clouds.
My entry does not look wild, but I tag it for the Wild Wednesday Challenge. So many thanks to Cailleach for hosting this inspiring challenge.
