Big Waves

We got up early and went to the beach to play in the big waves. Arfon had dropped off Eila on his way to work. I had made bacon rolls for everyone. Eila enjoyed it at first but then didn't like the hard stones hurting her legs as she was hurled by the waves. I'd bought loads of warm clothes with me so we wrapped her up and sat her by the wind breaker and gave her a cup of tea. It was good fun but quite windy and cold despite not many clouds in the sky. In the afternoon I went for a walk with Tash. We'd planned to go up Snowdon but it was far too windy so we decided to go for a walk around Vivian Quarry instead.
