Pavlova

We had some good friends round for dinner tonight and so I put together a menu for the evening which started with carrot and coriander fritters with carrots lovingly cultivated by L in the garden.  This was followed by a shrimp, spinach and basil risotto using basil from the same very local provider!  To cap it off, I made something I hadn't done for many years, a Pavlova, base of meringue, whipped cream and a medley of berries to top it off.  This was the most photogenic part of the meal - great time discussing faith and catching up on what we had been doing over the last few months.
