The Derelict Stublick Mine Buildings

Taking my youngest to school in the mornings we drive past these old mine workings; this morning backlit with early light. There used to be mines all over this area, for lead, copper, tin and coal.Dotted all over the valleys, sculpting the landscape.There was a flock of birds wheeling around too but I just couldn't hang around for the perfect shot. School waits for no blipper.
