First frost

Last night was frosty and there was a sharpness about the morning light. Many plants will not survive so it's time for a good tidy-up and some autumn planting. I used to think you just then left the garden to it for the winter. Not this year, lots of path-making and minor landscaping ahead.

Our view emerged as the sun brought its warmth to the valleys and hollows. Just one more to go.
