Land of my birth!

I spent the first 4 years of my life in Skye and we have had a spectacular day exploring and revisiting old and new places. The scenery is quite magnificent with mountains rising majestically all around. The weather has been beautiful and we are so fortunate to be here when the mist isn't!!

We walked down to Portree tonight and it was lovely to point out my old house to Semiquaver and then wander round the harbour. We are now enjoying a wee glass of the chilled stuff!

I took lots of photos today and it was hard to choose one but this peaceful view was the eventual winner!
