2014 more running needed

That'll do nicely

A productive day catching up on "Stuff" at home.
Tidying and sorting mostly.
The Olympic clothing and souvenirs are folded and put away to go in the loft, and the office room looks much tidier.

This afternoon I have been to the opticians and now have a range of options.
But as I don't need a new prescription yet it can all wait.

As I was in St Annes I was able to pick up Radio Cumbria nice and clear to get the Carlisle United commentary. So there I was, sitting in the sunshine listening to Carlisle win, while following AFC FYlde's FA Cup win at Bishop Auckland on Twitter.

With two wins secured, I popped round to see Les Dawson's statue. He really was a diminutive fellow: that statue is life size I believe, as opposed to the larger than life statues often made.

I'm commentating for a triathlon tomorrow. The organiser is the gentleman who so kindly accommodated me for The Olympics, so this is the least I can do for him.

In two weeks it's the Kielder Marathon and I was intending to run it as one of the 4 this year (now zero!) But as I can't, I've been invited to join the commentary team, working alongside Allison Curbishley and Steve Cram for the weekend. I get some great opportunities and I can't wait.
