Appreciation

I've had a really enjoyable busy day today.
First I adjudicated the Wesham 10 mile race and received the two shirts for doing so.
I loved what the organiser had planned for prizes in the veteran categories. First I saw the vegetables and said it was a good idea. Then he opened the fridge to show the fresh chickens to accompany the veg! Where else could you get a chicken dinner for running??

Then it was off to Fleetwood to provide commentary on the Triathlons taking place. Almost 700 athletes ranging from 7 to 70.

The organiser very kindly accommodated me for The Olympics so this was an opportunity to return the favour.

It was brilliant fun and the athletes really enjoyed themselves, despite my bad jokes!

The hat was very welcome as it was a bit nippy for standing, but great for the athletes.

On my way home I met Runhills and Young1. They might have been today's blip but although I thought I'd taken a photo, actually I hadn't!
