Potfest

We made a brief visit to the Potfest today - Potfest in the Pens at Penrith. 

There was the usual competition, where Potters are invited to make a pot on a certain theme and then visitors vote for their favourites. The theme this year is 'Bird Bath'. There were some interesting entries, including some quite amusing takes on the idea. I am not sure how many of them could be used in a practical situation - many would have frightened birds away, rather than encouraged them to use them for bathing!
